RABQSA Training Provider Certification Products |
|
RABQSA has three training certification products. Each product has been designed to reflect the needs of the market and the international training community; Training Course Certification (TCC) TCC is RABQSA's traditional training certification product and was previously known as 'auditor training course certification'. The evaluation of the training course involves every aspect of training; from the design and application of the training management system, delivery of course content, performance of instructors and provision of course support, to the assessment of key learning objectives. TCC is designed for specific management system auditor training. An applicant seeking certification to an RABQSA qualification-based personnel certification scheme must be deemed qualified in the knowledge and experience requirements for that scheme. TCC is focused on determining that the graduate possesses the required knowledge. TCC certifies that a Training Provider is able to provide effective and appropriate training, which must:
Generic Training Course Certification (GTCC) GTCC is the newest RABQSA Training Certification product to hit the market. GTCC, similar to TCC, involves every aspect of training; from the design and application of the training management system, delivery of course content, performance of instructors and provision of course support, to the assessment of key learning objectives. However, the GTCC product may be applied to any type or nature of course or training medium. For example, while RABQSA does not have a personnel certification scheme for project management, a Training Provider can have its project management course certified to international best practice using the GTCC product. RABQSA does not dictate the content of the number of training hours, students, nature of training material etc., but instead focuses on the design and application of the training management system, achievement of prescribed learning outcomes and the efficiency of the supporting administration. Training Provider and Examiner Certification Scheme (TPECS) TPECS is Competency-based training certification and is designed to reflect contemporary and innovative learning and assessment (examination) practices, industry expectations and, above all, demonstrate that applicants achieve the level of knowledge competence required for RABQSA personnel certification. An applicant for an RABQSA competency-based personnel certification scheme must be deemed competent in the knowledge, personal attributes and skills required for that scheme.
