The Cleaning/Disinfection scheme has been developed by RABQSA International, Inc. (RABQSA) to provide international recognition for cleaning and/or disinfection professionals using national or international standards, or other relevant standards recognized by RABQSA.

The Scheme has been developed to provide confidence and reliance in the cleaning and/or disinfection process depends on the competence of personnel conducting the cleaning and/or disinfection. This scheme has been developed to meet the following key objectives:

• To meet the requirements of the international standard for personnel certification ISO/IEC 17024:2003
• To assist organizations in selecting appropriately qualified cleaning and/or disinfection professionals, and
• To enhance the professional recognition of RABQSA certified cleaning and/or disinfection professionals
