Qualification-based Aged Care Quality Assessor

The Aged Care Standards and Accreditation Agency Ltd has responsibility for supervising the quality of care in Commonwealth-funded aged care homes across Australia.

Aged Care Quality Assessors are employed by The Aged Care Standards and Accreditation Agency Ltd (Agency) to conduct accreditation audits, unannounced visits  and support contacts to residential aged care facilities, to monitor compliance with the Accreditation Standards, continuous improvement and to provide education.

Aged Care Quality Assessors play a vital role in the continued development of the aged care industry and the promotion of quality of care to residents in aged care homes.

RABQSA International has been contracted by the Agency to manage the registration of Aged Care Quality Assessors.
