At the time of your next re-certification, you will be required to demonstrate that you have had the competencies required for grade and scope of certification examined in accordance with the new competency-based certification criteria. RABQSA International will provide ample notice advising that you are due for re-certification to enable you to meet all requirements. It is recommended that you refer to the applicable competency based certification criteria. How do I transition to the competency-based scheme? You can apply for transition at any time by submitting a transition application. You will be required to demonstrate that you have met the requirement of the competency-based scheme, including:
There is no initial fee for applying for transition, however, the Skill Examination and PAAS Master® fees are required, in addition to any annual fees that may be due. An Opportunity for IRCA Auditors to gain immediate certification with RABQSA International Inc. An opportunity exists for management system auditors certified by the International Register of Certificated Auditors (IRCA) to have their auditor certification formally recognized by RABQSA through a simple Transition Process. Transition is available in the RABQSA qualification-based management system certification schemes. The Transition Process is simple and will allow for IRCA-certified auditors to be certified by RABQSA in a very short time. RABQSA is very pleased to offer our colleagues currently certified with IRCA, to seek RABQSA certification. To transition directly from IRCA to RABQSA or, based on your professional needs, establish a dual certification, this initiative will provide you with increased recognition and professional status. There is no application or transition fee. A certification fee will be payable.
