The Safe Design Professional Certification (Saf-D-Pro) Scheme has been developed by RABQSA International, Inc. (RABQSA) in conjunction with the Saf-D-Pro Scheme Committee (SC), to provide international recognition for professionals who conduct design appraisals on consumer products, using International or National Standards and/or regulatory requirements, or other Standards and normative and industry references.

The Saf-D-Pro Certification Scheme is designed to ensure that certified Saf-D-Pro appraisers meet or exceed the Saf-D-Pro requirements defined by RABQSA and the Saf-D-Pro SC, to assist industry in selecting competent individuals to conduct safety design appraisals on consumer products, and to enhance the professional recognition of certified Safe Design Professionals.
