The Management System Certification Body Auditor Certification Scheme has been developed by RABQSA International, Inc (RABQSA) in liaison with industry and the accredited certification body community in the USA.

The Scheme is specifically designed to meet the needs of the certification community and addresses competencies specific to these activities. It will provide international recognition for Certification Body Auditors (MSCB Auditors) who conduct management system certification audits in relation to the certification of organizations, including audits using national or international management system Standards, or other Standards and normative and industry references, recognized by RABQSA.

The Scheme has been developed to meet the following key objectives:

• To achieve the requirements of the International Standard for personnel certification ISO/IEC 17024:2003 (17024);
• To ensure that auditors meet or exceed the certification audit and related competencies defined by RABQSA, using ISO 9001:2000, ISO 19011:2002, ISO 14001:2004, OHSAS 18001:2005, ISO 22000:2005, ISO/IEC DIS2 17021, ISO/IEC 17011:2004,

and

ISO/IEC Guides 61:1996, 62:1996 and 66:1999;

• To meet the specific requirements of the Certification Body;
• To assist the  Certification Body in selecting competent auditors; and
• To enhance the professional recognition of RABQSA certified auditors.

Applicants are not required to be currently employed by a Certification Body to apply. Please refer to the certification requirements for complete details.
