RABQSA, with the assistance of FaHCSIA, convened a Sub-scheme Committee (SSC) to provide guidance for the development of the audit personnel certification scheme requirements. Members of the SSC represented bodies significantly involved in audits of disability employment services, including FaHCSIA, accredited Certification Bodies, training providers and people with disabilities.
The requirements for audit personnel certification have been identified for each grade in terms of knowledge, skill, and personal attributes.
Grades exist for Consumer Technical Expert (CTE), Auditor and Lead Auditor. Under this competency-based model, there is no mandatory requirement for training. However, all applicants must demonstrate the defined competencies through examination of both knowledge and skills. Personal attributes will be examined through the RABQSA on-line PAAS Master® Examination.
While there is no mandatory requirement for training, some applicants may prefer to complete some training in the knowledge required for certification prior to undertaking an examination of the defined competencies. Training providers will be recognised by RABQSA under its Training Provider and Examiner Certification Scheme (TPECS).
The table below provides a summary of certification requirements only. Details of these requirements are available in the certification requirements document. |
