Auditor Certification for Bus Operator
Accreditation Scheme

The BOAS Auditor Certification Scheme has been developed under the guidance of a Scheme Committee comprising representatives from the MoT, the Bus Operator Industry and RABQSA. The MoT will be requiring all auditors of the BOAS to be certified as a BOAS Auditor from January 2007.

The aim of the BOAS is to ensure a high level of confidence in bus inspections against defined requirements, leading to a safer workplace for bus employees and safer environments for bus users. Requiring all auditors of the BOAS to demonstrate the competencies defined for certification will help to achieve this aim.

A summary of certification requirements is provided below. Applicants should refer to the BOAS Auditor Certification Requirements for details.

Please telephone RABQSA prior to applying.
